Slug flow prediction and handling

Slug flow occurs mostly in piping networks transporting wet gas. Condensate collects gradually in horizontal segments of piping to form a plug and then the liquid plug undergoes hydraulic transport to the segments of piping where it is being "shot" with high velocity by overpressure, behaving like a slug in a barrel of a gun. The slug then hits opposite bend in piping and it generates heavy loads on piping. Thsi problem is often met in oil & gas mining.

Nor-Par has gained experience that allows us to help our clients with predictive and preventive analysis of the slug flow.
